Our amazing 5-year-old Frank has a growth in his groin that needs to be surgically removed. Tumors like this are not common in horses so young, which makes this one particularly concerning. While it appears to be something affecting the skin, it also seems to have an internal component. The biopsy result did not rule out the possibility of malignancy and recurrence if we do not have the tumor surgically removed (including sufficient margins to allow the procedure to be curative, we hope). Procedures like this are expensive and unexpected, so they aren’t in our budget. We are asking our Dream Catchers family and friends to please help us raise the funds.
