Our Mission

Dream Catchers at the Cori Sikich Therapeutic Riding Center enriches the lives of children, adults, and families through equine assisted services offering education, empowerment, healing, and hope.

About Our Programs

Dream Catchers is a Premier Accredited Center through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.). Our programs provide a variety of Equine Assisted Services (EAS) for children and adults ranging from age 4 through senior citizens. Each program is designed to meet the specific needs of each individual while utilizing the unique qualities of our herd of therapy horses.

When signing up for a program, Dream Catchers must assess each participant in order to provide a tailored experience based on the individual’s specific needs and abilities. Please note that we cannot serve any individual under the age of 4.

Our Services

Most of the services Dream Catchers offers are Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EEAT). These services include therapeutic riding and horsemanship, psychotherapy incorporating interactions with horses (mental health services), equine assisted learning (EAL), and school groups. For more information about EAAT, click here.

Our Hooves & HeARTs program offers Equine Integrated Art Therapy, which blends connections with horses and artistic engagement into a balanced experience that promotes personal well-being. For more information about Art Therapy, click here.

Dream Catchers provides riding, horsemanship, and mental health services to veterans and active duty military personnel through our Operation Mount Up! program. We are able to offer these classes and services at no cost to the participants thanks to grants and donations to the Valor Fund. For more information about Operation Mount Up!, click here.

Each summer, Dream Catchers offers inclusive Summer Camps, teaching children with and without disabilities the basics of horsemanship and riding in a fun environment while promoting friendship, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. For more information about our Summer Camps, click here.
