Dream Catchers at the Cori Sikich Therapeutic Riding Center
Dream Catchers at the Cori Sikich Therapeutic Riding Center enriches the lives of children, adults, and families through equine assisted services offering education, empowerment, healing, and hope.
Founded in 1993, Dream Catchers at the Cori Sikich Therapeutic Riding Center is a 501(C)(3) charitable organization that provides a wide range of equine assisted activities and therapies. The organization is accredited by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.) as a Premier Accredited Center.
Dream Catchers’ therapeutic interventions have helped develop healthier, more productive citizens creating a positive impact for our community today and in the future.
In fiscal year 2021, the center provided more than 3,500 EAAT over four sessions. A total of 315 participants ranged in age from 4 to 76. More than 150 distinct diagnoses have been recorded among our participants. Our participants represent a diverse community of children and adults with special needs, from Richmond to Hampton, the Middle Peninsula, and the Northern Neck.
