Come Experience EQUESTRIYOGA

Come join us for EQUESTRIYOGA and experience the tranquility of our beautiful 22-acre farm!  Yoga means union or to bind together or to connect. In yoga, we often think about the connection of our own body, mind, and spirit. But it goes beyond that. Yoga can help us connect, not just with ourselves, but with the world around us. What better way to connect with the world around us than to practice yoga with horses!

No yoga experience necessary! No horse experience necessary! All of our sessions are adapted to all experience and ability levels. Just bring yourself and an open mind!  Please bring your own yoga mat. Closed toed shoes will be required for the horse connection activity (sneakers are fine). Water will be available onsite.  Your class will include:

*30 minute yoga class to get you feeling grounded and connected with yourself

*30 minute guided meditation session amongst the horses to help you expand your awareness

and connection out beyond yourself

*30 minute equine assisted activity that will foster connection, awareness, and mindfulness

Meet The Instructor

Gin Carter is a Consciousness Scientist who pairs her background of a Master’s in biology with her extensive training and almost a decade of teaching as a yoga instructor and meditation teacher (RYT-500). She makes the world of meditation, mindfulness, and yoga accessible to all, infusing her instruction with science, clarity, and logic. She grew up on a horse farm in Virginia, but spent 12 years in  Hawaii, conserving our world’s coral reefs and sharing the practice of yoga, while also studying the Hawaiian healing arts of lomilomi. She began teaching horseback riding lessons as a teenager and has been a PATH Intl. Registered Therapeutic Riding Instructor for 10 years. Gin believes that the power of yoga comes in the parts of the practice that go beyond just physical poses. With that in mind, she is excited to meld two of her loves–yoga and horses–together to give you a unique experience that she hopes will be truly magical.
